# LaunchPad — Portable Marketing Kit

The kit lives at `~/Developer/launchpad-os/kit/`. It is the portable version of LaunchPad — every artifact David needs to walk into a conversation about the company prepared.

The kit is for conversations with **investors, partners, potential team members, and press.** It is not for the public. **Always check with David before sharing anything externally.** Most of these documents are first-drafts written from established voice and decisions — they should be reviewed and refined before any external send.

## Contents

| File | One-line purpose | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| `elevator-pitch.md` | Three pitch lengths — investor, creator, room | Spoken introductions, cold outreach, the first 30 seconds of any meeting |
| `business-plan-summary.md` | Two-page executive summary of the full business plan | Investor or advisor pre-read; warm intros where the recipient wants substance fast |
| `launchdeck-explainer.md` | Standalone one-pager on the LaunchDeck wedge | Anyone who hears "creative marketplace" and you want them to immediately understand what makes LaunchPad different |
| `tech-stack.md` | Technical overview for developer conversations | Engineering candidates, technical advisors, anyone evaluating whether they could contribute |
| `os-overview.md` | Mission Control — the architecture of LaunchPad's AI operating system | Technical collaborators (Jon especially) who want to understand how the company runs before they join |
| `talking-points-jon.md` | Conversational notes for the Jon golf meeting | Reference before meeting Jon; not a script — a primer |

## Notes

- **Drafts, not finals.** Every doc here was written from the established voice + decision log. Read each one before sharing — voice nits, factual updates, and David-specific anecdotes belong in your version, not the AI version.
- **Pitches especially.** The three elevator pitches in `elevator-pitch.md` are first drafts. Run them past `brand-writer` (`/brand-voice-check`) or rewrite by hand before they land in front of an investor.
- **External-facing only after David's go.** Per `CLAUDE.md` rule #1: *Never publish content without David's explicit approval. Default to draft.* That applies here too.
- **When the company changes, the kit changes.** Anything that drifts (tester counts, build numbers, RI density, fundraising posture) should be updated before sharing. Run `/log-decision` if a real shift happens, then update the affected files.
